Between the Shadow and the Light

The Between the Shadow & Light exhibit opened in September 2014 at Xavier University and the George and Leah McKenna Museum of African American Art in New Orleans—in conjunction with the national conference of the Lilly Fellows Program in Humanities and the Arts. The exhibit then traveled to Calvin University, where it was featured at the Calvin Symposium on Worship in early 2015. As you read the various venues below, you can see that Between the Shadow & Light has had a very successful run traveling across North America where it ended at the Amazwi Galley in Saugatuck, Michigan, December of 2018.
